We have represented over thirty defendants in Federal Firearms cases at the trial as well as appellate level. This is a specialized area and does require an expert not only in the law, but with regard to firearms themselves.
Steven Robert Shanin is a long time competitive shooter, winner of many awards and trophies for marksmanship, is a NRA certified Instructor and has been certified by the Illinois Attorney and Disciplinary Committee to teach Federal Firearm law to other attorneys for Mandatory Continuing Legal Education credit.
